Vision & Mission

The foundational purpose, long-term roadmap, and ethical pillars guiding our federation across western Nepal.

Our Vision

To establish Lumbini Province as the premier Olympic Taekwondo hub of Nepal, recognized internationally for athletic excellence, grassroots empowerment, ethical sportsmanship, and continuous podium finishes at national and continental games.

Our Mission

To systematically foster martial arts discipline across all 12 districts by certifying high-caliber coaches, providing standard training facilities, conducting transparent provincial ranking tournaments, and nurturing youth from grassroots to international mastership.

Traditional Tenets

The 5 Pillars of Taekwondo

Ye-Ui (예의)

Courtesy

Politeness, mutual respect for masters, peers, and opponents.

Yom-Chi (염치)

Integrity

Distinguishing right from wrong and standing by the truth.

In-Nae (인내)

Perseverance

Steadfast endurance through pain, hardship, and training.

Guk-Gi (극기)

Self-Control

Restraint of emotions and actions both inside and outside the dojang.

Baekjul (백절불굴)

Indomitable Spirit

Unconquerable courage facing injustice or formidable challenges.

Strategic Objectives (2026 – 2030)

  • 12-District Full Modernization: Equip all 12 district chapters with certified electronic scoring systems (PSS) and standard puzzle mat rings.
  • Grassroots Talent Identification: Implement mandatory school and community Taekwondo programs reaching 10,000+ young practitioners.
  • Referee & Coach Excellence: Conduct biannual international refresher seminars with World Taekwondo certified instructors.
  • Gender Inclusion & Women in Sports: Increase female athlete and female referee representation across all provincial squads by 40%.
